Maranatha Virtual Academy (MVA), a subsidiary of Maranatha Baptist Bible College, utilizes Christian teachers in conjunction with the award-winning K12 curriculum to offer online courses and education to children kindergarten through twelfth grade. Learn more about this relationship.
Flexible for Individualized Learning
Every child is different. Some children work faster; others slower. Some need more review in math; while others need more review in reading. To accommodate for this flexibility of learning–both for students who require review practice or advanced challenges for particular topics–Maranatha Virtual Academy utilizes a Personalized Instruction Plan (PIP) for each full-time student. The PIP is a written plan that involves the parent, student, and MVA teachers in the academic goal-setting process.
Powerful for Hard-to-Get Courses
Not everyone can teach Spanish, Calculus, Physics, or even Biology. Even getting honors courses in high school can be difficult. Advanced high school students may wish to consider MVA’s honors courses. One advantage to MVA is that you can choose just the courses you want. Browse the options: K-8 | 9-12
Great for College Prep
If you’d like your child to get a head start on college, MVA partners with Maranatha Online to provide juniors and seniors in high school with college courses at a 50% tuition reduction. Since Maranatha Baptist Bible College is regionally accredited, these courses are readily transferable to other colleges and universities.
